Ingredients
2 ribeye steaks (1-inch thick)
2 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic (crushed)
2 tbsp butter
Salt & freshly ground black pepper
Fresh rosemary or thyme (optional)
Instructions
Let the steaks sit at room temperature for 20–30 minutes.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat until shimmering.
Sear steaks 3–4 minutes per side. Add butter, garlic & herbs, then spoon over steak.
Remove from heat and let rest 5 minutes. Slice and serve hot!
